I don\u2019t have time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m just too tired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are two excuses I hear on a regular basis for not organizing or de-cluttering.  Well, some of you now have the time and are possibly more well rested than you have been in a long, long time.  So, what are some things you can do while you are at home??  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. \u00a0Gather up important papers, scan them and\/or file them away in a designated spot.\u00a0 Do you need a list of the kind of important papers I am talking about?\u00a0 https:\/\/peggywbarnes.com\/organizing\/resources\/<\/a><\/li>
  2. Talk with your lawyer about updating your will.<\/li>
  3. Execute your advance directives. \u00a0There are state specific forms online, you can download and execute.\u00a0 <\/li>
  4. De-Clutter a closet<\/li>
  5. Want to be outside \u2013 clean out the garage.\u00a0 Our recycle centers, in Craven County, are still open.<\/li>
  6. Back up your documents, photos, videos and other information from your computer to the cloud.\u00a0 I use Carbonite for my cloud back up. https:\/\/www.carbonite.com\/<\/a><\/li>
  7. Scan your photos to the cloud.\u00a0 I use a company called Forever to store all my photos and videos. \u00a0https:\/\/www.forever.com\/ambassador\/peggy-w-barnes<\/a> (by the way, this is an affiliate link)<\/li>
  8. Clean up the photos\/videos on your phone to create more storage space.<\/li>
  9. Clean up your email inbox. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    This is just a start, but just starting is important!\u00a0 Take a little bit at a time and when all this is over, you will feel all the better for getting it done. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
